Calories burned yes. Miles yes. Tap the face of the watch several times to see the miles, calories burned, steps climbed, fat burned, heart rate and much more.

No, it sends that info to the phone app and does it very well. It does state the number of steps, time/date, heart rate, run timer, stopwatch and relax timer for after run. It also has alarm and notifications and will show phone number of incoming calls.
