• The Fitbit Charge 2 doesn't come with a dongle. To setup your fitbit, you will need to use the app on your smartphone (examaple: iPhone).

• There is no dongle on this new Charge 2. I read that it can be synced with any blue tooth computer. Hope this helps.

• You must have selected the wrong model when setting it up. This is the Charge 2, not the Charge HR.

• It must be purchased separately. However, if you have Bluetooth capability on your computer, you won't need it. The dongle from previous Fitbit trackers works as well.
