Is this water proof null

Water-resitant, not waterproof. Wouldn't recommend going swimming with it.

Fitbit is not water proof. It is water resistant. So you can get it wet from workouts, rain or washing your hands but don't' swim with it, take showers with it or submerge it under water. I know some people who did and their Fitbit still works. Fitbit explicitly says not to submerge it under water though.
