• The band IS made of a rubber material and it's a bit flexible. It is NOT waterproof as the back/inside exposes the ports where you charge and where it monitors your heart rate.

• It appears to be made of some type of rubber or rubber composite. Don't know if it contains any latex which would render it unusable to those with latex allergies.
