I enjoy swimming, is this product (theHR) water resistant? I enjoy swimming and would like to track heart rate while swimming. In the features, their is no information to indicate the (HR) is water resistant. Please advise. Thank you, Bill

Water resistant but not for swimming. One downside I've noticed so far.
I have heard people cover it and it is fine, but I have personally not tried that. I used to have the flex and used to swim with it but noticed that it deteriorated the fitbit much faster when i swam with it.

In the Charge HR guide, it says to keep the device as dry as possible, and that it can only handle splashes and rain. It says to not wear the Charge HR in the shower, so I don't think it would be able to be submerged in a swimming pool.

You can't swim with or shower. It's supposed to resist sweat only.

It is not recommended to use while swimming. It can get splashed, but it recommends not to wear while showering either.

You cannot swim with this device. The Charge is waterproof, the Charge HR is splash proof. It will be fine with rain and sweat but you have to take it off for showering and swimming

Unfortunately no...not waterproof like Fitbit Flex. The charge port is on the back so I see why it can't be used for swimming.

Warn mine into he shower and maybe for a dip in the pool with no major I'll effects. However it is not waterproof and it will certainly shorten the lifespan of your device, which is fairly short in the first place. Heart rate monitor is not 100%accurate by any stretch.

Water resistant for washing ands and a quick shower. That's about it. Even Fitbit says it is not water proof, and to not submerge it.
