It doesn't exactly have a stopwatch, but if you press and hold the button, it will work as an "exercise" timer that will keep track of how long it has been since you pressed the button. Hope that helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if you hold down the button on the side the stop watch starts. If you hold it down again it will stop. You have to remember to check it though because it doesn't remind you. I left mine running once for 6 1/2 hrs lol.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My mom uses it to track her workout times. You just hold down the little side button for a couple of seconds and the timer starts. Hold it down again and it stops. You can review these 'workout' times on your smart phone or computer later. I think the idea is to track your heart rate during the timed event but it is timing whatever you want it to time. Displays how many minutes have gone by but the tiny screen does not remain lit. You have to tap it to see information.
