No. It does measure heart rate on a continuous basis. The app produces charts that you can share with your doctor and track your resting heart rate on a day to day hour to hour basis.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It simply gives you a heart rate...it downloads in a chart but is not accurate enough to see rhythm....more of a trending tool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn't seem to. The HR on the device when its on you seems to be the instant rate, and you can watch it go up and down every second... But when it syncs data to your phone, it seems to only tell it the avg over 5 min or so increments (likely cause it can't record every second and not burst its memory if you don't sync all day). But it will catch all the rises and falls in that period. Either way though, if you skip a beat, it likely wont notice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. For that kind of information you need a high quality heart rate monitor with the strap. I say high quality because you would need something that records data for download versus just read-out. Even then, you would need to check with the manufacturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. If your HR tracking is accurate (I am not satisfied that mine is; I have a pacemaker and know my resting HR) then it will register a lower HR but not indicate rhythm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No.it does not record your heartbeat, it only shows your current heat rate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it detects rate, not rhythm :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think so
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know what the afib is but I do know that no hear rate monitors can detect irregular heart beats. They don't have the capacity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not this model. They have a model with a heart rate monitor.
