Manufacturer warranty only lasts for so long. I always purchase extra warranty for those just in case moments.Best Buy warranty will replace the item if anything happens to it! Love that!! They have gotten a lot better with their warranties. They use to pick things apart to not have to cover. So much better now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Manufacture Warranty is 1 year unless you purchase is parts of Europe then it's 2 years. The Manufacture warranty cover defects in materials and workmanship. Fitbit would either repair your unit or replace it with a refurbished or possibly new one. Best Buy offers a 2 year replacement plan which I believe cover accidental damage meaning if it accidentally gets damaged via dropping or liquids spilling they cover the Fitbit. It covers regular everyday things as well like regular wear and tear and even the battery. If the battery is not holding a charge any longer they cover it. This is a replacement plan so rather then sending it out Best Buy will replace it with a new one.
