I know nothing about the Altria, but I've had nothing but problems with my Charge HRs over the last year. The first one had a defect within 3 months and has since been replaced through FitBit warranty 3 more times. My latest one, the fourth, failed today and the warranty is no longer valid. Terrible product for $150.

I didn't like the Altria because the display was a little larger and the display "wrapped" around my wrist which made it quite non-flexible. The Charge HR has a small display that goes length-wise along your wrist. This is my second Fitbit HR and I really like them. Lightweight, flexible, I play golf in mine.
