• Yes, it should work with you ipad. I have an Iphone and it syncs with that and it will sync with my Samsung tablet as well. With the fitbits they sync with Bluetooth and I haven't had to purchase anything extra for the fitbit. Everything you need comes with it

• Yes you can download the app and sync to your iPad. The charger come with the Fitbit. You don't have to plug in to sync.

• Yes it will sync to an iPad. I have no idea why you would need a USB converter for the Fitbit.
