- Answer Not waterproof, but water resistant...I wouldn't submerge in water or wear it when taking a shower however okay to rinse/clean under faucet.

- Answer Yes, it should work with you ipad. I have an Iphone and it syncs with that and it will sync with my Samsung tablet as well. With the fitbits they sync with Bluetooth and I haven't had to purchase anything extra for the fitbit. Everything you need comes with it

- Answer Go to the Fitbit website and look up setting up your Fitbit you have to put it on charge and hold the button and the number will pop up.
