As far as counting your steps? I just tried it and yes it will count your steps. But it will not take your heart rate because it has to have skin contact.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but probably won't be as accurate
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would work but not likely to be as accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bob it will still record steps while in your pocket but might not be as accurate. The HR function would also be obsolete. I would recommend the Fitbit One to you if you rather keep it in your pocket and don't care much for HR readings. This is made for being near the center of your body so it is more sensitive. The Charge is made for your wrists which move more while walking so it is less sensitive when near the center of your body, so it may record less steps. But the occasional carrying it in your pocket will still be okay if need-be! Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will probably still count your steps but won't give you any other info
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it tracks the movements of your body as you move. You just will not be able to calculate your heart rate since the monitor won't be able to access your vitals through your pocket.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it must be on your wrist as it uses your heart rate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
