It plugs into any USB to charge or dock. If you connect it up using a windows platform you can pull the information off of it onto a computer whenever it is docked. The recommended method is to use an Apple or Android phone with Bluetooth connect-ability. This will then upload to the website where you can access and review or log your food, exercise, weight, sleep, etc. For anything that didn't get tracked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure what a base station is, but i don't have one for my Fitbit Flex 2. I just simply downloaded the app, created a username and password and then started to use it. The charger it comes with needs an adapter (the part to plug in the wall). If you have a smart phone that has a usb cord, then you should be good and can charge you Fitbit Flex 2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a little charging toggle that you can leave plugged in to your computer. The fitbit flex 2 automatically downloaded to my account. I did not have to set it up like I did my ultra. It worked immediately upon putting it into the charging toggle. I went into my dashboard and there it was. I then synced it to my phone and now I have my account up to date where ever I am.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took my FITBIT to a Best Buy store and asked the Geek Squad to sync it to my iPhone. Works like a charm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All FitBits have a charging cable to charge them. There is no base station used. For the FitBit Flex you have to take the insert out of the band and put it in the charging cable (there is a place it snaps in). But as far as a base station no you don't have one.
