• I have the latest IOS version but have used the Fitbit since early 2014 and it has worked with all the previous versions.

• A visit to the Apple App Store will answer your question. iOS compatibility is tracked there. I just checked and it stated "Requires iOS 7.0 and later". Hope this helps.

• I use an Iphone 5 and found a fitbit app that it syncs with (version 8.4.1)
