• No it's not waterproof just splash resistance.

• No the Fitbit One is not water proof. It is okay for temporary water splash but not if submerged.

• No it states in the instructions it is not designed for swimming. It is sweat proof for working out but not swimming.

• No. I believe it says it is is water resistant so it's not affected when sweating, etc, but not waterproof for submersion in water.

• I do not believe so. It is water resistant though. My wife did run one through a laundry wash cycle without any problem, but that is not recommended by the manufacturer.

• I haven't used it for that. From what I've encountered only if it gets sparsely wet. Not submerged for any length of time.
