Hi, Joan. The Fitbit ECG app can be used without a Fitbit Premium subscription. If you don't have a Fitbit Premium subscription, you won't have access to advanced insights like personalized workout recommendations, detailed sleep analysis (including sleep profile), guided mindfulness sessions, stress tracking insights, advanced health metrics, and a wider variety of workout classes compared to what is available with a Premium subscription; however, you can still track basic activity, steps, heart rate, sleep duration, and calories burned using the standard Fitbit app features.
