You do not need a new ISP provider, however we are having many issues with Fit right now. The community blog is exploding with text/call and snycing issues since many Android cells updated, even the mighty ios has had issues snycing, etc. Fitbit ignored, gave tech go arounds, and finally responded with, "We know about the issues but have no answers or time frame for fixing." So if you still wan't one, have at it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, you just connect with bluetooth
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use any carrier--the watch just has to have access to your phone through bluetooth, and the phone has to have access to the Internet and SMS. One thing to note is that according to the license, FitBit can see every single text you let go through to the watch . . . .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes works with both iPhone and Android
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The messages that are displayed on my Surge are text messages from my android phone. You're not able to review email messages that I know of. It will also display some phone calls. You are not able to respond back though. I had a Gear Fit that had simple responses that you could but the Surge is more helpful for tracking fitness.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You get messages via bluetooth from whichever device you have paired your surge with. If your device has the bluetooth option disabled your surge will not notify you of incoming texts. The surge will only then notify you of texts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No connects via Bluetooth
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tracker syncs with your device using a wireless device, so no need for an ISP, unless you want to sync it with someone else, a group, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All that's required is a smart Phone or other device with bluetooth. You can review messages if you are connected but can not respond. It's great if you want to see messages but not be disruptive to others.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. All that is required is the working android phone, with bluetooth, and the fitbit app.
