No, the Versa 2 does not attach to the charger with a magnet such as some of the other Fitbits do such as the Luxe. The Versa 2 charger has a clam shell design which clips onto the watch when you put it in the charging cradle. I don't use a pacemaker but would think that a small magnet in a watch worn on your wrist would not affect the pacemaker.
