“I am looking for a watch that I can keep on while doing the dishes or when taking a shower. Can the versa2 handle this? I know it says water resistant reference swimming, but would running water impact it?”

I've swam with my Versa and Versa2 without issue. I haven't dunked my wrist in running water while wearing it though. I think it's just better to take it off during a shower or doing the dishes (why risk a malfunction?). If you insist on doing that though, make sure it's during the warranty period.
