Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sure it does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit records stairs as steps. It does not distinguish between a walk inside your home, walking on a treadmill or climbing stairs. I believe the more expensive units do distinguish the difference. These units are only guaranteed by FitBit for 45 days. Buy the insurance @ Best Buy. I have replaced two of these units in the last year...so buy it, enjoy it, enjoy the community you can join with it, but reliability has become an issue with this product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only as steps taken. It will not increase the calorie burn. There is a Fitbit model that will, I believe it is the Charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Measure any step that you take. Love going to the store and just walking around while shopping. Really adds up the steps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anytime you have the fitbit attached to your underpants at your hips or exercise bottoms and you move your hips, the counter measures the movement as a step. Does not matter whether you walk on a sidewalk, up and down stairs, or on a treadmill. It counts the movements!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Zip will measure the steps, but a more expensive model counts flights of stairs.
