No you have to open the case to reach the home button. No when the case is closed the Hi Galaxy doesn't respond.

No, when the case is closed the phone is in sleep mode--not powered off completely, but you have to open it to use the power buttons--it is like a wallet. .

No you cannot use the home button when the case is closed, S voice works with the case closed, there is an icon on your screen to use for S voice

No you can only use the volume and other side key. When case is closed it creates it's own home screen that you can use while case is closed, like your music, reject phone calls coming in, talk while case is closed.

S-Voice does not work with the case closed, nor can you see or use the home button. If you can I have not figured a way to do it. You can answer calls with the case closed though. It has a cutout for the ear piece and the mic is not covered by the case.
