“Does the processor start without the food pusher making contact with the feed tube? That's one of the things I hate about my food processor, the motor won't engage until the pusher is locked into the tube, so I have to pre-cut everything to fit.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine won’t either. You have to put the large pusher into top before it will run. You cannot process large items, mushy always use small pusher. Why?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The lid must be locked in, but it will run without the "pusher" locked in for continuous feed without stopping. You do have to pre cut your food to fit in the chute though. I love mine!
