This unit is duel fuel, the stovetop is gas and the oven is electric. This model contains one sealed dual burner that goes as high as 20,000 BTU with a 1,000 BTU simmer with 7 single sealed burners at 15,000 and 9,000 BTU's. The oven broiler is equipped with two individuals heating elements. The inside element is 1000 Watts and the outside element is 2000 Watts. Apologies for the confusion! The top outer broiler is 1800W, the inner broiler is 1000W. It is the bottom bake element that is 2000W.
