It will not. The device runs 300W continuous, 400W peak. It might run for a second(if at all) before the overload protection kicks in and it shuts off power. Moreover, if your space heater runs at 1500W continuous, it may also require a higher peak than that simply to get it started. A strong inverter, as well as a much higher capacity battery(or bank of batteries) would be better for a 1500W space heater. My space heater can run at 1500W(@12.5Amp) or 750W(@6.25Amp), but it won't run off this thing.
