The mounting bracket comes attached to the back of the microwave along the bottom edge. You unscrew the bracket from the microwave, use a template to attach the bracket to the wall, then sit the back of the microwave into the bracket. Tilt the microwave up and attach the screws through the top cabinet. These holes are also pre-drilled using a template. The bracket is pretty close with the bottom of the microwave. Maybe an inch off.
