“When microwaving, and the timer beeps the completed time- if you open the door- does it CONTINUE to beep (as previous models have)? We found this a minor annoyance and now that our microwave went out, we are looking to replace it with one that does NOT.”

• The sound can be lowered or muted by accessing a menu with a multi-touch on the touch screen. Instructions are taped inside the microwave.
