“There is an icon on the timer display of a flaming pan between the hours and minutes. Manual says it’s a timer active indicator. I have not set any timer. Why is it lit?”

Hi, Sully! Thank you for reaching out to us. As you have stated, the timer active indicator will appear if the timer function has been pressed. To turn it off you will need to press timer on-off until the desired function option appears, and then press and hold or at the same time. The timer function will go out after several seconds. You are able to view these instructions on page 18 in the manual.
