Hi Jayrad - this unit does not have a built in "self cleaning mode". (On ice makers with a self cleaning cycle the unit turns off the refrigeration unit and only circulates water). Cleaning the unit is easy: Take out the ice basket Clean the interior with diluted mild detergent, warm water and a soft cloth Use the water to rinse the inside parts and drain out the water from the draining port by unplugging the drain cap in the back. Flush the unit with clean water (to remove the detergent residue) Dry the interior with a soft cloth.
