• Yes, you have to option of leaving the LED light on

• Hi John! Thank you for your inquiry. The light comes on automatically when the door is opened. The light can also be turned on and off by pressing the “Light” button on the control panel. Press the button twice to keep the light on when the door is closed. We hope this helps. -Thanks!-
