Please try again later.According to my Kill A Watt power monitor, it consumes only about 73 Watts and .89 Amp when running, no more than an old 75 Watt incandescent light bulb. Any power surge when turned on (don't know what this is) would be minimal and should not be a problem for any normal household 15 or 20 Amp circuit. Daily usage is averaging about 0.84 KW-hrs, or an average power consumption of about 35 Watts. It's as energy efficient as advertised.
