  • QuestionWe do not want to use the ice maker since we do have a water line built in. Do we have to connect the ice maker in order for the freezer or refrigerator to work?

    • Answer No, you can have the ice maker disconnected and still have the fridge and freezer sections work just fine. Just make sure the ice machine control inside the fridge is set to off or it will buzz at you.

  • QuestionWhat are the dimensions of all the doors when they are fully open? When my current fridge is open all the way, there is no room to walk by. I need to be sure the doors of this fridge will be able to open.

    • Answer The two refrigerator doors opened measure 39" from the rear of the refrigerator body. The freezer door is also 39" and 42" at the handle being it pulls straight out. The refrigerator door handles don't come into play being they end up to the left and right sides of the unit when open. Over all this and any counter depth unit will end up about 3-5" inches shorter in depth when the doors are opened compared to standard units. Hope this helps.

    • Answer No crushed Ice. But the cubes are actually pyramids and they are smaller than ice cubes from a tray. The ice maker fills the bin i side the freezer a d you just scoop out what you need.Even came with a little ice scoop lol.
