Good day, valued consumer! If your existing trim kit (from your old Bertazzoni) is the same overall size (e.g., 27″ or 30″ wide × ~18″ high) as a Frigidaire trim kit, then in many cases it could physically fit and be reused around the new Frigidaire microwave. People have reported older trim kits fitting newer Frigidaire units when the visible front dimensions match. If the existing trim kit is smaller (for example, built for a 24″ wide model without the ~18″ height faceplate), then you cannot use it; it will not cover the larger Frigidaire cut-out trim opening properly and won’t seal/finish as intended**. Frigidaire built-in installation requires a trim kit sized for the model and opening. - The new microwave requires a trim kit for proper built-in installation. - You might be able to use your existing trim only if it exactly matches the new trim kit’s overall visible dimensions (e.g., 27″ or 30″ wide × ~18″ tall). - If the existing trim is smaller or different in size from the Frigidaire trim models, you must buy a new trim kit that correctly frames the new microwave. - Maico
