Hi Paddy. If you install your refrigerator in a garage or other unheated area, you may experience freezer temperature problems during the winter months when temperatures dip below 50°F (10°C). If your unit is in a garage or area where the temperature is below 50°F (10˚ C), adjust the freezer control to the coldest setting to improve performance. ~ Christy
