Very confused by the answers to the question if this model is smudge proof. I was told the black stainless steel is smudge proof, but that the stainless steel itself is not. Which is it and what cleaner for stainless steel. null

Barb - This unit comes in Stainless Steel, White, Black and Black Stainless Steel. None of the finishes available are smudge proof. Hope that helps. - Kailey

It's not smudge proof.  Not hard to avoid smudges - just use the plastic areas on both doors to open and close.  Haven't researched a stainless steel cleaner - so far am just using a damp cloth.
