Just Delivered - Can't get water or ice to work My Fridgidaire was just delivered and all hooked up, but water and ice does not work. I called BBY and they said it would take 24 hours before it would work. Can someone please verify this?

Mine began working immediately. The first few gallons of water needed to be discarded as well as the first full bin of ice due to toxins that were in the system from the manufacturing process but the systems worked immediately.

Did you check your water valve to see if it's on? I only say this because I made that mistake with my washing machine and discovered it only AFTER squeezing the stacked washer/dryer into its little laundry crevice.

First I thought something going on with my water, because I couldn't get any. But you have to press the button to reset several time. Then try to press your water button. It will work. Good luck

Water should work immediately, but ice will take a few hours to create. After that it's a problem with the hook-up or the fridge.
