It is quieter than my old one but not sure if it’s the quietest one on the market. I’m sure if you pay more you can get one really quiet. As for the stainless tub I like it but don’t know if it act makes a difference

As for which type of tub is better, they both have there advantages. Stainless steel can withstand up to 160 degrees, while plastic can hold up to 140 degrees.
