Should the dishwasher door stay down when opened null

you would think , but it does not kind of a pain

Mine doesn’t stay flat . It is at an angle . I have to carefully push it down . I thought it was that way from the person who installed it but now that you asked maybe that is how it was designed . Does it make a whole lot of sense to me because you need it flat for the bottom rack when you pull it all the way out to ad bigger items but it doesn’t interfere with the washing so I am going to just leave it as is .

I think it should but mine pops back up a little bit for some reason and makes the tray roll back annoyingly.

Yes I believe so. It makes it easier to load and unload.
