The dishwasher isn’t designed to run only the dry heat option without a proper cycle, but some moisture may remain on the plastic tub at the end of the cycle and would be normal. However, if you notice water puddled up at the end of the cycle, the dishwasher may not be draining properly. I would try following the steps in https://youtu.be/fhL2rbB-KoY to see if this helps.
