Hi there, Fritz! Thanks for reaching out. This Frigidaire Built-In Dishwasher requires connection to a hot water supply line. It does not internally heat the water to the necessary temperature for washing cycles. If your current plumbing only connects to a cold-water line, you might need to modify your setup to accommodate a hot water connection for this model. - Maria
