I know how you feel. We wanted to see one also but was not in any Best Buy store. My guess is that they reserve the store space for the top end models. We ended up buying this model online and are very happy with it. We took a chance, but it worked out good. The unit cooled very quickly when we turned it on, and the water and ice from the door tastes great, no funny smells or anything.
