“My installation requirement says I need to have a new power cord because they cannot use the one from the previous wall oven. Does this oven come with a power cord? I don't understand how it couldn't, but that's what the installation information says.”

Hello Finn. The wall oven does not come with a power cord. However, the armored cable leads supplied with the appliance are UL-recognized for connection to larger gauge household wiring. This is dependent on the 3 or 4 wire junction box in the home. The detailed illustrations of this are provided in the available installation guide. Kindly, Anna
