In my experience it’s a very slight difference, I have a thermostat to see the temp in my room and if I have the unit set to 70 and the compressor is off if it even hits 71 it’ll turn back on. It’s very sensitive.

The unit should be operated in a temperature range of 60°F to 95°F (16°C to35°C) when in cool mode and 41°F–90°F(5°C–32°C) when in heat mode.
