“does it evaporate all of its own water, or do you need a frain hose”

• The unit itself comes with a small drain hose which you probably won’t need to use unless you use the dehumidifier function. However if you do use that setting and you need to drain it unscrew then cap on the back plug it into the back and let it drain. You should only need to do this before winter storage.
