Hi Ken. The cut out dimensions are as follows: Length (28-1/2" - 29-7/8"), Width (19-5/8" - 20-1/2"), and the Depth below the cooktop is 5". You should allow 2" (5 cm) space below cooktop to clear the electric cable and allow for installation of the junction box on the wall at the back of the cooktop. All of this information will be illustrated for you within the provided installation instructions. ~ Anna
