Hello there. Thank you for reaching out. Some tips are available in the Use and Care Manual at page 40 if you are having issues with surface burners. Here are some sample causes and solutions we can try to resolve your concern. The surface control knob was not completely turned to LITE. Push in and turn the surface control knob to lite until the burner ignites, and then turn the control knob to the desired flame size. The range power cord is disconnected from the outlet (for electric-ignition models only). Be sure the power cord is securely plugged into the power outlet. The circuit is broken. Check the breaker box or fuse box. Electrical power outage Burners may be lit manually. We hope this helps. ~Ruth
