“I have had this unit for three weeks, and for the most part it works fine. However, it never shuts down when t-stat temperature is reached. I have it set to 74, and we need to shut it down manually. Is there a feature I need to enable?”

I can't answer your question but mine shuts off automatically, so there is obviously either something wrong with the switch or a setting needs to be changed on your A/C
