• Yes, you can. We had a power outage Christmas Eve day, and I wanted coffee. Anyway, remove the grate and turn the appropriate know to the lowest position and ignite it using a flame source (grill lighter is best; anything shorter and you risk burning your hand). I did not try doing this with the oven, but as the control panel doesn't work, I don't know how you'd set the temperature.
