Not really. I had to move my current outlet to inside the wall to accommodate the range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Frigidaire answer says it should be placed directly against the wall AND with sufficient clearance for ventilation. Those seem to be contradictory answers, so, which is it?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a slide in unit, not a freestanding unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good day, Kathy M! The Frigidaire FCFI3082BS is a freestanding electric induction range, and as such, it does not have a dedicated inset or cutout at the back for gas connections or electrical plugs. This design is typical for freestanding ranges, which are intended to be placed directly against the wall without the need for recessed connections. The range should be installed with sufficient clearance at the back to accommodate the power supply and ensure proper ventilation. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for installation to ensure safety and optimal performance. If you are experiencing issues with the range protruding from the wall due to outlet placement or other obstructions, it's advisable to consult a qualified installer. They can assess the situation and recommend solutions such as relocating the outlet or using a recessed outlet box to allow the range to sit flush against the wall. - Maico
