“Just purchased yesterday. I have already empited the bottom water tray 2 times within an 8 hour period. (The unit displayed "P1") I have it running on "Cool" & "high". Is this normal?? I have 2 other diffrent units and have never had to empty water.”

• it depends on the humidity of the room. once the room is cooled down the new air from the unit will be much dryer and the moisture will not accumulate as fast

• Hi Anna! Thank you for your inquiry. The water typically evaporates. However, if for any reason the bottom tray gets full, you will possibly receive a “P1” message on your display that alerts you to drain the tray; which is normal. Hope this helps! -Thanks!-
