How long can it run before emptying out the water null

My unit is vented out the window so water doesn't collect in it.

Hey there! The water typically evaporates. However, if for any reason the bottom tray gets full, you will possibly receive a “P1” message on your display that alerts you to drain the tray; which is normal. We hope this information was helpful to you. -Ciara

If you are running it on air conditioning mode you don't have to empty the water.
